The half-life of is approximately 3.8 hours. It is primarily metabolized in the liver, with less than 9% of the original dosage excreted unchanged in urine. Acetaminophen also undergoes hepatic metabolism, predominantly forming non-toxic compounds which are then eliminated in urine.
Dependency
